PLACES OF INTEREST IN BROKEN HILL
The Living Desert Sculptures. The Broken Hill Sculpture Symposium was held
in 1993 and has left the City one of its most spectacular tourist
attractions. We would encourage all visitors to walk or drive to the top
of the hill then soak up the atmosphere that was so inspirational to the
artists who sculptured their breathtaking works of art.
Delprats Underground Mine provide fascinating tours 200 metres underground
and will give you an insight into working mines of the past and an
entertaining commentary.
The Pro Hart Gallery houses one of the largest private art collections in
Australia - featuring both Australian and European art. Broken Hill is
internationally renowned for our artists and galleries, they will love the
opportunity to talk about their work and love of the outback.
The Musician's Club Limited is a provides a variety of entertainment
including, "Two Up", modern poker machines, club keno, sky channel,
A-La-Carte Restaurant, Bistro, free courtesy bus and many more activies,
visitors are most welcome.
The Golf and Country Club features 18 Hole fully grassed course, one of 2
desertgold courses in Australia with full Clubhouse facilities and pro-shop.
