Home Maintenance and Modification
BRIEF DESCRIPTION A locally-administered service offering specialised Maintenance and Modification to houses of frail-aged, handicapped and younger disabled persons and their carers to enable such persons to remain in their own homes.
  • Subject to funding the service may provide technical advice and assistance by licensed builders.
  • Modifications may include such things as rails, ramps, steps, wheelchair-access, handheld showers, bathroom and toilet modifications.
  • Maintenance repairs may include repairs to leaking roofs, electrical safety equipment, home security, hot-water services, sewerage, draining and plumbing, heating and cooling etc.
