BRIEF DESCRIPTION

BRIEF DESCRIPTION	A locally-administered service offering specialised transport to the frail-aged, handicapped and younger disabled persons and their carers. Community Transport operates two mini-coaches 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. All drivers and helpers/carers are trained volunteers. Transport can be for any purpose such as social, medical, family, shopping etc. Group outings, such as concerts, picnics or lunches etc., are readily arranged. Special outings for housebound persons are arranged, usually monthly. Volunteer cars can often be arranged for transport -disadvantaged persons seeking medical attention. Transport outside normal times can be arranged in certain circumstances.
